§ 1 Scope of Application
These Terms apply to all training and continuing education programs offered by Continuum GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”). By registering, participants accept this Training Agreement in its current version.
§ 2 Registration and Conclusion of Contract
Registration takes place online and becomes binding once confirmed by the Provider. The number of participants is limited; course places are allocated in the order in which registrations are received.
§ 3 Course Fees and Payment
The applicable course fee is stated in the current course description. The fee must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the start of the course. Participation is only guaranteed upon timely receipt of payment.
§ 4 Withdrawal / Cancellation
Participants may withdraw under the following conditions:
• Up to 21 calendar days before the course: free of charge
• Between 20 and 7 calendar days before the course: 50% of the course fee
• From 6 calendar days before the course or in case of no-show: 100% of the course fee
The withdrawal must be declared in writing (by e-mail). The date of receipt of the withdrawal notice is decisive.
The provider reserves the right to replace lecturers, if necessary, with equally qualified substitutes.
§ 5 Cancellation by the Provider
The Provider reserves the right to cancel courses for important reasons (e.g. insufficient number of participants, lecturer unavailability). Fees already paid will be refunded in full. No further claims may be asserted.
§ 6 Certificate of Attendance
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
§ 7 Data Protection / Photo and Video Recordings
The Provider processes personal data exclusively for the purpose of organizing and administering the course. The Provider’s privacy policy applies and can be viewed at www.continuum-academy.com.During the events, photo and video recordings may be taken for documentation and promotional purposes (e.g. website, flyers, social media). Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
§ 8 Copyright of Course Materials
All course materials are protected by copyright and may only be used for personal purposes. Sharing, reproduction, or distribution is not permitted.
§ 9 Liability
Participation is at the participant’s own risk. The Provider accepts no liability for damages caused by participants or third parties, unless such damages result from gross negligence or intent on the part of the Provider. Participants are obliged to conduct themselves respectfully towards all other attendees.
§ 10 Technical Requirements for Online Courses
For online courses, participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet the technical requirements (e.g. stable internet connection, up-to-date software).
§ 11 Final Provisions
Amendments or additions to these Terms and Conditions must be made in writing.
If any provision is held invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction is – if applicable – Vienna.
